At CCDC, we help arts educators, consultants, and organizations transform teaching and learning through culturally responsive arts integration, creative leadership development, and care-driven curriculum design.
We believe classrooms should be alive with creativity, rich with literacy, and rooted in joy. That’s why we center wellness, equity, culture, and imagination in every service we offer—from custom curriculum development to professional development and educator coaching.
Whether you're a new arts educator seeking clarity or a school leader looking to amplify student achievement through the arts, our work bridges purpose and practice—making creativity the standard, not the exception.
What We Do
We offer customized curriculum writing, scope and sequence development, and programmatic support for schools, arts departments, and creative learning spaces.

We deliver dynamic, research-informed training experiences for schools, districts, and arts organizations—both virtually and in person. Sessions are rooted in culturally sustaining pedagogy, arts integration, and wellness.

Classroom Activations & Residencies
Our Classroom Activations are short-term, high-impact residencies that model arts integration in action—bringing culturally responsive, standards-aligned, joyful learning directly to students and staff.
Ideal for: Schools wanting to see how the arts boost engagement and literacy in real time.
Creative Leadership & Coaching
We provide 1:1 and group coaching for arts educators, creative leaders, and education consultants who are building sustainable careers or businesses rooted in creativity, care, and strategy.
Ideal for: Teacherpreneurs, early career arts educators, and consultants.
Arts Integration & Literacy Strategy
We specialize in designing and delivering frameworks that integrate dance, movement, and other creative arts with literacy-rich instruction—particularly in ELA and Social Studies.
Ideal for: Curriculum directors, arts coordinators, teachers seeking innovative, culturally responsive pedagogy.
Advocacy, Speaking & Thought Leadership
From conference keynotes to strategic planning sessions, we help organizations reimagine how the arts live in schools—and how educators can drive equity-centered change from within.
Ideal for: Education conferences, creative nonprofits, school boards, grant-funded initiatives.

Tanjarae Porter is a skilled facilitator, an avid community-builder, and an incredibly kind human. I seek to work with her again and again due to her ability to consider joy and play alongside the very real needs and realities of the teachers she works with. She invites educators to build curriculum that is centered around the lived experience of their students and crafts workshops that mix interactive participation, dialogue, and critical thinking. Her work in early childhood education, arts-based literacy, and culturally responsive teaching practices is not to be missed!
I participated the Intentional Learning: Using Children’s Books to Support Culturally Responsive Teaching in the Movement Classroom workshop. It was fun, interactive, and full of useful content! Tanjarae shared books and lesson ideas that I tried with my students almost immediately as well as big picture concepts I can apply in future lesson planning. The group brainstormed ideas about different ways to use a book during the session, and because my students have been so excited about exploring the book and hip hop, I’ve used a few already! I highly recommend Cultivated Connections"
Our session about Culturally Responsive Arts Integration was phenomenal. From the brain research that came out of it to the movement that was incorporated to gaining a better understanding of how we can use the arts to drive learning, it was so insightful.
This session was powerful and energetic.
I look forward to using what I learned during this professional development session as my daily teaching practice.
