MEET THE FOUNDER
Tanjarae Porter is the founder and Arts Education Coach of Cultivated Connections Design & Consulting, LLC (CCDC), a woman-owned educational consulting agency dedicated to empowering arts educators and leaders. With over a 13 plus years of experience as a PreK-8 dance educator, K-5 specialist, and former 6th-grade teacher, Tanjarae brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work in education. Her passion lies in bridging the gap between arts education, literacy, and community building through culturally responsive teaching and arts integration strategies.
As a highly sought-after speaker, Tanjarae has presented at prominent conferences, including the International Association of Blacks in Dance, Theatre and Dance for the Very Young, the National Dance Education Organization, and the Educators Moving On Conference. Her workshops and presentations focus on empowering educators to cultivate inclusive, creative, and impactful learning environments through dance, literacy, and community engagement.
Through Cultivated Connections, Tanjarae provides coaching, professional development, and curriculum support to arts educators, equipping them with the tools they need to lead with authenticity, foster belonging, and integrate the arts into academic learning.
